Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy garlanded the portrait of Santh Sevalal Maharaj at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium here on Friday on the occasion of his 276th birth anniversary.

Nizamabad: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy garlanded the portrait of Santh Sevalal Maharaj at Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium here on Friday on the occasion of his 276th birth anniversary. He paid rich tributes to the venerable Guru of the Banjara community.
Addressing the gathering, Srinivas Reddy said it was an auspicious occasion to celebrate Santh Sevalal Maharaj birthday after the formation of Telangana state. He pointed out that the TRS government had taken up several welfare schemes for the benefit of Banjara community people. The Minister said no state government in the past had celebrated the birth anniversary of Santh Sevalal. He stated that 550 artistes, who participated in the Telangana agitation, would be given government jobs.
