Telangana Government Releases Funds to Fulfill KCR\'s Vows to Temples. The Telangana Government has released a sum of Rs 5 crore towards making of ornaments for Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala to redeem the vows of Chief Minister and the Ruling Party.

The Telangana Government has released a sum of Rs 5 crore towards making of ornaments for Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala to redeem the vows of Chief Minister and the Ruling Party.

Similarly, Rs.59 lakhs has been released for redeeming other vows the chief minister K Chandrasekar Rao had made for the sake of Telangana. A resolution was passed during the last cabinet to make jewelries and present the same to deities of Tirumala, Warangal, Trichanur and Kuruvi.

Releasing the funds today, the Government Order said a golden nose ring of 15 gms each would be presented to Goddess Padmavati of Trichanur and Kanakadurga of Vijayawada. A golden crown would be presented to Goddess Bhadrakali of Warangal and golden mustaches would be presented to Veerabhadraswami temple at Warangal.

Similarly, theTelangana government has already presented a silk chadar to Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty Dargah of Sufi saint at Ajmer last fortnight.
