BJP leader Lakshman says Telangana budget lacked clarity Stating that the government did not spent even 40% of the last year\'s budget, BJP floor leader Dr K Lakshman said that the Telangana\'s budget for 2015-16 presented by Finance Minister Eatala Rajender lacked clarity on both expenditure and revenues.

Mr Lakshman said that the Finance Minister ideally should have carried forward those unspent amounts in this year's budget to make it comprehensive but he did not mention any unspent amounts. Also, the BJP leader said that the Finance Minister argued on the claims of Telangana being the second wealthiest State after Gujarat.
Mr Lakshman said that as the government omitted mentioning the farmers who committed suicide, the compensation has been reduced for the eligible number of families of Telangana martyrs.
