Officials urged to improve hostels
Nalgonda district Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy on Wednesday directed the officials of Social Welfare and Engineering Departments to work in coordination and complete the construction of government hospital buildings.
Nalgonda: Nalgonda district Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy on Wednesday directed the officials of Social Welfare and Engineering Departments to work in coordination and complete the construction of government hospital buildings. He also instructed the officials to provide more amenities in the existing social welfare hostels.
The Collector held a meeting with officials of Social Welfare and Engineering Departments and reviewed the progress of works to build government hostel buildings.
Speaking at the meeting, the Collector said the functioning and maintenance of SC, ST, BC hostels, residential schools and Kashthuba Residential Schools should improve. He warned of action if the officials shirked their responsibilities.
Additional Joint Collector Venkat Rao, DEO Vishwanatha Rao, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department Venkatanarsaiah were among those who were present at the review meeting.
