Jupalli, Laxma Reddy lambast BJP, TDP
Industries Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and Health Minister C Laxma Reddy lashed out at the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party saying that they had no moral right to seek votes for the MLC elections. Speaking to the media in the town on Sunday after campaigning for TRS candidate Devi Prasad, they alleged that both the BJP and TDP colluded with each other to prevent the formation of the Telangana State.
Mahabubnagar: Industries Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and Health Minister C Laxma Reddy lashed out at the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party saying that they had no moral right to seek votes for the MLC elections. Speaking to the media in the town on Sunday after campaigning for TRS candidate Devi Prasad, they alleged that both the BJP and TDP colluded with each other to prevent the formation of the Telangana State.
The two Ministers criticised the TDP and BJP leaders and accused them of trying to prevent the benefits of the AP State Reorganisation Act from reaching the Telangana. They appealed to the people to teach a lesson to the BJP and TDP parties in the ensuing election to the Graduates constituency. The Ministers said that the nine months rule of the TRS in Telangana was far better than the 60-year rule in the undivided AP when great injustice was meted out to the State.
