On Thursday, Tension reigned in the premises of Telangana legislative assembly when the security personnel stopped legislators of opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from entering the Assembly building.

The ten MLAs who faced suspension for the entire budget session from the House were left in embarrassment when the security staff did not allow them to enter the building. With the situation getting intense between the security and the legislative members, police had to intervene and evict them.

On Wednesday, these legislators were prevented from addressing the media in the assembly premises who called on Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to lodge a complaint.

The legislators have been protesting in the assembly premises ever since they were suspended for the entire session due to the alleged disrespect shown to national anthem during the governor's address on March 7.

TDP floor leader E. Dayakar Rao led the legislators on Tuesday for a protest in the speaker's chamber seeking disqualification of the TDP legislators, who shifted to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the last few months. Also, they expressed dissatisfaction with Speaker Madhusudhana Chary’s injustice in seating arrangement.
