Nizamabad: The Department of Mass Communication of Telangana University will organise one-day national seminar on “Public Relations Practices in Digital Era” on April 7 on the university campus. The seminar convener and Mass Communications Department Head Dr K Raja Ram said on Saturday that the seminar would offer a right platform for a thorough debate on the subject of Public Relations and the sweeping changes it was witnessing in the digital era.
The advent of the social networking sites and the digital technologies and the consequent changes is how the society was communicating and their impact on the public relations practices would be debated in detail at the seminar, he said. Around 100 delegates from different universities and other institutes from across the country are expected to participate and present papers at the first of its kind seminar on the subject of public relations. Eminent academics and practitioners of the public relations will participate in the seminar.
