Will T TDP\'s Lagaan Team Lose Another Wicket?. A flexi erected in Mahbubngar in the wake of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu\'s visit to Mahbubnagar has stirred a debate in political parties.
A flexi erected in Mahbubngar in the wake of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's visit to Mahbubnagar has stirred a debate in political parties.
The Telangana Telugu Desam party had won 15 Assembly seats in the 119-member Telangana Assembly. With the recent developments, its numbers dwindled to 11. Four MLAs have already crossed over to the TRS and two more MLAs are expected to follow suit.
On Wednesday, huge hoardings of TDP appeared at Chandrababu's public meeting in which huge pictures of Telangana TDP leaders including those planning to join the TRS sporting as 'Lagaan' team were put up. The image of Manchireddy Kishan Reddy who recently quit TDP to join TRS flexis raised many eyebrows.
Interestingly, the hoardings also had pictures of R Krishnaiah. Speculations are rife that Krishnaiah will bid adieu to the TDP soon and he is reportedly peeved by the TDP for ignoring him after the elections. Krishnaiah, who won as the LB Nagar MLA, has been staying away from several key meetings of the party.
In a clear indication of sidelining him, the TDP recently announced Sama Rangareddy as the in-charge for LB Nagar. Now, the TDP leaders projecting them as 'Laggan team' has shocked everyone. It remains to be seen how many MLAs will be left in the team and how many wickets will fall by next elections?
Let's wait and see if TRS' Operation Akarsh ball scores six or four.
