Hyderabad: After the RTC workers, it is the turn of ‘108’ ambulance service staff of Telangana to go on strike. The 16,500-odd employees working with the ‘108’ services in the state have been demanding better wages and working conditions since long and they served a notice on the GVK-EMRI management 20 days ago threatening to go on strike from Thursday if their demands are not met. President of Telangana 108 Employees Association Mahender said the employees were expecting a call for talks from the government on Thursday. He said that Chairman of Telangana Political JAC Prof Kodandaram will take part in talks on behalf of the ‘108’ services employees.
