Hyderabad: Ahead of the party ‘s three day annual meet – Mahanadu - to be held from May 27 in the city, the Telangana TDP has come out with a new strategy by taking every mandal as a unit to revive the party, which has been on the verge of collapse.

Under the new strategy, the functioning of the party would also be decentralised from grass-root level by involving party workers actively in decision-making and implementing party policies effectively. On the instruction of party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, the Telangana TDP would organise ‘Mini Mahanadu’ in every district from May 16 where the party workers will be given freedom to make suggestions and also conceive ideas to strengthen the party.

The district party units would prepare a report on the strengths and weaknesses of the party which includes mandal and district level strategies to be adopted to activate the party. All the district level reports would be reviewed by the party chief and finalise the strategies at every mandal level. Party senior leader E Peddi Reddy said all the village party units had been asked to attend the Mini Mahanadu and submit their reports about the party activities in their respective areas.

Before the meeting, mandal and district party committees would be constituted between May 11 to 17. The first mini mahandu would be held in Karimnagar on May 16, Khammam and Manchiryal ( May 17), Nalgonda (May 18), Adilabad (May 20), Nizamabad (May 21), Medak (May 22), Mahabubnagar (May 23) and the last meeting would be held in Warangal on May 24, Reddy said.
