There were around 82,000 acres of land under endowment department. Speaking to reporters after inaugurating Kaverimatha Koneru taken up with a cost of Rs 1.5 crore at Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple, on Sunday, the Minister assured to provide better facilities to devotees by completing all developmental works in temples across the state.

Temples belonging to the district such as Vemulawada, Kondagattu, Dharmapuri and Kaleshwaram would be developed on par with Yadagirigutta Narasimhaswamy temple.

Talking about ongoing works of Godavari Pushkaralu, he said tendering processes for Rs 500 crore works was completed and works such as construction of ghats, drinking water facility, electricity, roads, sanitation, medical facility, bathing ghats were in different stages. Stating that about three crore devotees participated in 2003 pushkaralu, Minister said about six to eight crore pilgrims from the state and other states are expected to take part.
