Upbeat with response from the city people, The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to hold another round of Swachh Hyderabad drive during the winter. Like the on-going programme, it will also be a four-day affair with whole of the government and official machinery getting involved in the mass cleaning drive.

It may be mentioned here that chief minister already declared his intentions of holding Swachh Hyderabad, every month, for the next four years to transform the state capital into a clean city on par with global cities. While addressing a meeting organised in Malkajgiri on Wednesday evening, KCR lauded the official machinery for actively taking part in the programme, despite mercury soaring to a new high in the last two days.
He stated that Swachh Hyderabad would be conducted one more time during Winter Season.KCR pointed out that he would be seeking funds from the Centre in wake of holding the Swachh initiative on a never-seen before scale. No state in the country responded to the Prime Minister’s call like the Telangana government, he said, adding that he would be visiting New Delhi soon to hold talks with the NDA government. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be invited for the next phase of Swachh Hyderabad drive, he said.
