Vacation court rejects plea against MANUU

Hyderabad: Justice A Ramalingeshwara Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday refused to take on file in the vacation court a writ plea against the Moulana Azad National Urdu University. The petitioner, Dr Abdul Quayum an employee of the University challenged the appointment of an inquiry officer to inquire into charges levelled against him in April 2015.

The petitioner is charged of impersonating employees of the university and sending false complaints against the university staff. The judge maintained that the matter was not so urgent as to be moved in the vacation court and directed that it be listed next week after vacations.
