Based on the comprehensive transportation study (CTS) for 2041, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation stated that a strategic road development programme (SRDP) is being formulated comprising of skyways, grade separators, flyovers, major corridors and major roads.
For the first phase of the strategic road development programme, Telangana state government propose tenders for the cost of Rs 4,051 crore which will be utilized for civil structures and land acquisitions.
The GHMC commissioner, Somesh Kumar stated that the land acquisitions will be accelerated immediately for the SRDP projects and the tenders under the annuity mode will be called in view of the huge investments.
