After the bribery scandal coming into light, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy received back lash from TRS but got moral support from his party on Monday. But nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson received a hero’s welcome from TRS MLAs in the Assembly as he arrived to cast his vote in the MLC polls.
After the bribery scandal coming into light, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy received back lash from TRS but got moral support from his party on Monday. But nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson received a hero’s welcome from TRS MLAs in the Assembly as he arrived to cast his vote in the MLC polls.

Elvis Stephenson was lauded by the TRS legislators for sending Revanth Reddy to Chanchalguda jail after the latter offered Rs 50 lakh cash as part of the Rs 5 crore deal for voting in the favour of the TDP. While MLA Elvis Stephenson turned the hero for lodging a complaint with ACB after repeated attempts to bribe him and sending Revanth Reddy along with three others to jail.
Revanth Reddy has been sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand and his bail plea has been deferred to Friday.
