Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders on Monday informed their party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on how the TRS government targeted the party senior leader A Revanth Reddy, who was arrested by the ACB for allegedly offering bribe to a nominated MLA to vote in favour of TDP candidate in the MLC election under legislators quota.
Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders on Monday informed their party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on how the TRS government targeted the party senior leader A Revanth Reddy, who was arrested by the ACB for allegedly offering bribe to a nominated MLA to vote in favour of TDP candidate in the MLC election under legislators quota.
Before leaving to Assembly to cast their vote, nine MLAs of the party, led by party working president E Dayakar Rao met Naidu and explained the ‘political conspiracy’ hatched by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao to kill the political future of Revanth Reddy by foisting cases against him and defame the TDP in Telangana, at one stroke.
The leaders brought to the notice of Naidu that Revanth approached the nominated MLA, Elvis Stephenson only after the legislator’s close aides told the TDP leader about Stephenson’s willingness to vote in support of TDP by demanding money.
