Traffic diversion at Tank Bund

Telangana Formation Fete concludes today

Hyderabad: In connection with the concluding day celebrations of Telangana State Formation Day, the City police have announced traffic diversions and restrictions on Upper Tank Bund on Sunday. The traffic coming from Secunderabad towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan –Bible House towards Kawadiguda – Lower Tank bund.

Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma and Kawadiguda side towards Childrens Park -Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minor towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat to the Telugutally flyover – Kattamaisamma. Traffic between Nallagutta junction to Budha Bhavan will not be allowed.

Traffic coming from Telugu Tally towards upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Ambedkar Statue towards Liberty. The vehicular Traffic coming from liberty junction towards IT lane and BRK bhavan, GHMC Y junction will not be allowed towards Telugu Talli and they have to precede Telugu Talli via Ambedkar statue.

Artists coming from various districts by buses will alight at Lumbini Park and send buses for parking at NTR stadium. The artists who have come by buses should go to parking place at NTR stadium by foot after completion of program to board their buses and retreat via children’s park, DBR mills, Vaartha lane. NTR stadium is allotted for Buses parking.

For general public parking places will be at Makhta, Helipad lane, Doctors parking and NTR stadium. The City Commissioner M Mahender Reddy advised the invitees to keep mobile number of their drivers with them to communicate after the programme. Invitees are requested to reach in advance to the venue to avoid any inconvenience and be seated at designated place in time.
