Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy advised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to do some self-introspection on his achievements in the irrigation sector. Speaking to media persons, here on Friday, Sukhender Reddy alleged that the TRS Government has failed to irrigate even one acre of land during its one year regime.
He said that the Chief Minister has been focusing all his energies on abusing Congress and TDP leaders and former governments. He said KCR did not pay serious attention on the completion of any single project in the new State. Congress leader said that the ongoing fight between KCR and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu was hurting the interest of Telugu speaking people in both the States.
He also demanded action against Naidu under Anti-Corruption laws for his alleged involvement in 'cash-for- vote' case. The Nalgonda MP urged KCR to ensure early completion of Palamur and Dindi projects. He also claimed that it was the Congress overnment which ensured supply of Krishna River water to Hyderabad. He alleged that the present TRS Government was not taking any steps to meet the increasing drinking water needs.
