High Court adjourns Revanth Reddy's bail plea

The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on bail petition of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy in cash-for-vote case to Friday.

The high court adjourned the case after the Telangana ACB's counsel sought time to file a counter affidavit on the petition. Revanth Reddy was arrested on May 31 by the ACB when he allegedly tried to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote in favour of TDP candidate in MLC elections. Presently, Revanth Reddy is lodged at the Cherlapally Central Prison.
