Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police registered three criminal cases against principal accused in cash-for-vote case Revanth Reddy for taking out a rally without police permission and making threats while brandishing lethal weapons. Two cases were registered in Kushaiguda police station and one in Malkajgiri police station under IPC Sections 341, 188, 506 and 509.
The police said after his release from Charlapalli central jail on temporary bail on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy took out a rally without police permission and made provocative speech threatening to dislodge the TRS government from power and also threatened people concerned while swinging lethal weapons. It may be mentioned here that Revanth Reddy, after his release from jail on bail, went in a procession and made speeches attacking the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues.
