Hyderabad High Court on Monday granted relief to over 1,200 employees of APGenco and APTransco by directing Telangana state government to pay their salaries.
Hyderabad High Court on Monday granted relief to over 1,200 employees of APGenco and APTransco by directing Telangana state government to pay their salaries. The Telangana state government, Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd and the Telangana Power Generation Corporation were directed by Justice Reddy Kantha Rao to pay the salaries.

The TSSPDCL had filed the petition to vacate the interim stay suspending its guidelines to allocate the employees to AP while the employees filed another petition challenging the TSSDPCL’s decision to relieve them and also not releasing their salaries.
The Judge informed that it is the responsibility of the TSSPDCL and other respondents to pay the employees’ salaries till the final order on the litigation.
