Nizamabad: Chief Election Officer of Telangana on Thursday appreciated the Nizamabad district administration for successfully linking EPIC (Elector’s Photo Identity Card) with Aadhaar card and announced that Nizamabad is the first in the entire country, who achieves 100 per cent Aadhaar linkage with EPIC.
The Chief Electoral Office on Thursday sent a press note to the district administration that the Nizamabad district Aadhaar linking has been completed cent per cent and purified electoral rolls thereby weeding out the duplicate, ineligible, dead and shifted electors. The Chief Electoral Officer would visit the Nizamabad district on August 1 and review on this success, the press note stated.
