RCs to have photos, licences green logo. If everything goes well, vehicle owners in Telangana will soon have their photographs on registration certificates (RCs). Disclosing this, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy on Tuesday said they would incorporate Haritha Haaram logo in driving licences to be issued.

Speaking to media persons after a high-level review meeting with officials on bifurcation of the Road Transport Corporation, Mahendar Reddy said vehicle owners could attach their photographs in the RCs. To offer improved services, it was decided to set up 12 new RTA offices across the State. He also said there was no plan of increasing bus fares which were fewer compared to other States.
He said it was decided to constitute a separate governing council within a month to offer improved services to commuters. On becoming operational, the new RTA offices would offer incomparable services in coordination with the governing council, he said. The Minister maintained that the bifurcation of the corporation would be completed soon.
