Hyderabad: A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday voiced displeasure at the manner in which the Central Government had dealt with the allotment of the employees of power distribution companies in the twin states of AP and Telangana. The bench comprising Justice R Subhash Reddy and Justice A Shankaranarayana was dealing with a batch of writ petitions filed by employees who are relieved from Telangana government undertakings in power sector on the basis of nativity.

The bench opined that the Central Government should have taken a proactive role and that that there must be permanent mechanism and solution to deal with such situations. The bench while adjourning the case to August 25, directed the Central Government to file its counter.
