Revanth Reddy along with his supporters came to attend the opening ceremony of the market yard godown. But the police stopped his supporters when they tried to obstruct minister Jupally Krishna Rao from attending the opening ceremony. The police also resorted to lathicharge to disperse the agitating crowd.
Protesting against this, Revanth Reddy staged a sit-in at the market yard. Police took Revanth Reddy into preventive custody.
