High Court to pronounce orders on terminated power staff

The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad on Saturday announced that the orders on the petitions pertaining to the 1,200 terminated employees from the Telangana power utilities would be pronounced on Tuesday.

The sacked employees who approached the High Court managed to obtain interim stay orders but the Telangana power utilities still didn't re-appoint them nor did they pay the salaries for the past three months.

The Telangana power utilities instead filed petitions in the HC to vacate the interim orders. After hearing the both sides of the arguments, the High Court will pronounce fresh orders on Tuesday.
