Hyderabad: Telangana government will launch Employees Health Scheme designed for government employees and pensioners on October 2 by establishing special Out Patient (OP) clinics at all the government hospitals,

Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) and non-National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) accredited hospitals across the State.

The minister for health Dr C Laxma Reddy held a review meeting with the officials of Health Department and representatives of employees association here on Thursday.

Along with the government hospitals and NIMS, all the non-NABH accredited hospitals across the state would provide medical services without pre-authorisation.

Earlier, the hospitals had to take authorisation from the Aarogysari Trust. The hospitals will have separate free clinics for these patients from afternoon 2 pm to 4 pm.
