Set up Konda Lakshman’s memorial at Jaladrushyam

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya appealed to the State government to establish memorial of Konda Lakshman Bapuji at Jaladrushyam which was his place of residence until few years before his death.
Since the land, at present, was under the control of State government following court orders, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should not waste anymore time but implement the decision, he said.
He was speaking at the centenary birth anniversary function of Konda Lakshman Bapuji held at Ravindra Bharathi on Monday.Dattatreya further pointed out that the Centre decided to bring a postal stamp in memory of Bapuji.
He was a disciplined politician who stood for moral values, unlike elected representatives of present generation, Dattatreya said. Meanwhile, echoing the sentiment,
