CM says institutions are permanent, but not posts

Hyderabad: Reacting for the first time since all Opposition parties in the State joined hands to corner the TRS government on the issue of farmer suicides and loan waiver,

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stated that the ‘impatient behaviour’ of his political rivals was not good for politics, the State and even the country.

“Come what may, the government will not commit harakiri in decision making since it might have an adverse impact on at least the next two generations,” said Chandrashekar Rao.

He was speaking at a programme organised during the birth centenary celebrations of former Deputy Chief Minister JV Narsing Rao in the city on Wednesday.

“Criticism in politics is understandable but the way a few sections are going overboard is uncalled for,” he felt.

Chandrashekar Rao said that people reposed faith in the TRS in the general elections last year despite contesting without any alliances. “We will try to get a feel of things in subjects we are not fully aware of.

The decisions we make and the steps we take are bound to have a long term impact. Whatever might be the situation, the TRS government will not take wrong steps. We will tread our path carefully to achieve the goal of Bangaru Telangana,” he stressed.

The Chief Minister stated that institutions (referring to the State) were permanent but posts, power or victories in elections were not.
