The Budget session of the Telangana government for 2016-17 is likely to commence from the last week of January and would conclude by the end of February according to the sources in the finance department. This time State government proposes to present the budget before the union budget is presented. The reason for advancing the budget presentation is to speed up the implementation of various flagship programmes like two bedroom houses.
