Minorities panel takes Xainab’s case suo motu
The State Minorities’ Commission has taken up the incident of the tragic death of Syeda Xainab Fatima Jaffri, a four-year-old play school girl, suo motu and registered a case.
Hyderabad: The State Minorities’ Commission has taken up the incident of the tragic death of Syeda Xainab Fatima Jaffri, a four-year-old play school girl, suo motu and registered a case.
The commission has issued notices to the District Educational Officer, Hyderabad, DCP of Police, East Zone, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, and the principal of the school directing them to file a report along with relevant papers on or before November 28.
The commission’s chairman Abid Rasool Khan also directed the authorities to place before it all records pertaining to the permission accorded to the school and report of the GHMC authorities and a report on the death of the child from the police authorities.
It held that Xainab, daughter of Syed Izaz Hussain Jaffri and Tahasin, a student of Star Kids Premium School, a pre-primary unit of Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools at Revenue Board Colony, Gaddianaram in Dilsukhnagar, was killed due to ‘gross negligence’, after getting stuck in the lift of the school.
