Warangal: The political parties have wrapped up their campaigning for Warangal parliament by-election here on Thursday.

During the last fortnight, major political parties, Congress, TRS, BJP-TDP, YSRCP and Left parties engaged in busy electioneering. As the campaign came to close the leaders from outside the district made an exit following the EC directions.

The district administration declared holiday in station Ghanpur, Palakurthy, Parkal, Warangal East and West, Wardhannapet and Bhupalpally assembly segments on November 21, on which the polling takes place.

The TRS chief and the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao added glitter to the party campaigning as he addressed massive public meeting in support of the party nominee P Dayakar.

Holiday was declared on November 20 for the educational institutions that were identified as polling station and distribution centre. Similarly holiday was declared for Enumamula agriculture market where counting of votes takes place on November 24, informed District Collector V Karuna.
