The Warangal Bypoll witnessed an unusual scene today. Several Government officials welcomed the voters who arrived first at the polling stations with flowers in the morning. This is to create awareness to exercise voting right among the public. Warangal district collector Karuna presented a flower bouquet to the first voter at the Warangal Arts and Science college,The polling for the Warangal Bypoll began at 7 am today and ended at 5 pm.
Nearly 50% polling was reported and no untoward incident took place in the seven Assembly constituencies.
