Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday laid the foundation for police command control center in Hyderabad said that the police need to adapt to suit the changing times.
The building that is to be constructed at Road No 12 in Banjara Hills will be allocated Rs 302 crores while another 700 crores needed for the building would be allocated in next budget.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that the Hyderabad Police Commanding center is the best after Singapore and New York. KCR directed the police officials to continue the good work that has brought nation wide recognition. The programme was attended by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, CS Rajiv Sharma , Director General of Police Anurag Sharma, MPs, MLAs, etc.
