Nizamabad: The Backward Classes Teachers Union demanded the government to immediately prepare new service rules in view of Supreme Court’s verdict to give promotions to the school teachers and start the English medium classes in all schools from next academic year.

Addressing the gathering at a meeting held at Care Degree College in the town on Sunday, the BC Teachers Association president M Vinod said that several problems of school teachers were still pending and the government should take steps to solve their problems immediately. He said that it should fulfill their demands like release of the DA from July and provide cashless health treatment to the employees in all private corporate hospitals.

The district BC Teachers Association general secretary M. Praveen Goud, various office bearers and members participated.
