Telangana state government is making strategies to solve the traffic issues in Hyderabad outskirts particularly with people entering the city from the neighbouring districts and farthest regions of the city.

The government plans to make Hyderabad as Counter Magnet City by building flyovers and laying highways by connecting four neighbouring districts including 10 towns to Hyderabad. To be established with an investment of Rs 10,000 crore, the highways will connect selected towns including Sangareddy (Medak district), Gajwel, Shankarpally, Toopran, Vikarabad (RR district), Narsapur, Choutuppal, Shadnagar (Mahbubnagar district) and Bhongir (Nalgonda district).
