Neilson predicts TRS win in GHMC polls
Neilson NG Mindframe survey predicted that ruling TRS will win GHMC elections for which the notification would be given in a day or two. The survey, broadcast by a channel on Saturday, gave TRS 75-85 seats, BJP-TDP combine 21 seats, Congress 10-12 seats and MIM 40-45 seats.
Hyderabad: Neilson NG Mindframe survey predicted that ruling TRS will win GHMC elections for which the notification would be given in a day or two. The survey, broadcast by a channel on Saturday, gave TRS 75-85 seats, BJP-TDP combine 21 seats, Congress 10-12 seats and MIM 40-45 seats.
The survey also estimated that TRS will win 63%, BJP 12%, TDP 9%, Congress 9% and MIM 6% votes. The survey report said even the voters belonging to Seemandhra regions would favour the TRS. Majority of them appreciated the performance of the government.
However, the Congress, TDP and BJP felt that this was a premature survey as the government was yet to announce the reservations of the wards.
Interestingly, the Congress leader Lagadapati Rajagopal felt that TRS certainly would be ahead of others in the polls as people feel that only ruling party can develop the city.
