Renovation works taken up

Manthani (Karimnagar): Under the Mission Kakatiya Project, renovation works relating to Rangasamudram lake in Lakkaporu village of Manthani mandal in the district were taken up by Manthani MLA Putta Madhu on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that though funds were released for taking up Mission Kakatiya works, the works got delayed due to call for tenders.
Irrigation Department Assistant Engineer Tirupati said that the repair works of the lake would be taken up at a cost of Rs 32 lakh and the height of the ayacut tunnel would be raised.
ZPTC Saroja, MPP Kamala MPTC Lakshmi and Sarpanch Srinivasulu were present on the occasion.
