KLU to conduct international conference in August
The IEEE student branch of Kalasalingam University, which has recently launched IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, is conducting an international conference in the month of August.
Hyderabad: The IEEE student branch of Kalasalingam University, which has recently launched IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, is conducting an international conference in the month of August.
The theme of the conference is- ‘Intelligent Techniques in Control, Optimisation and Signal processing’. Dr D Devaraj, the counselor for the student branch, said that the student body has been organising a number of guest lectures, workshops and faculty development
programmes.
The national conference is an annual event of the student branch and it is being organised since 2010. During the launch of Computational Intelligence Society on January 25, Dr S Saravanasankar, Vice-chancellor of KLU congratulated the IEEE student branch and its counselor on their new initiative.
The Society was inaugurated by Dr N Kumarappan, Secretary, IEEE Madras section & President, CIS Chennai region, who was also the chief guest at the event. J Olivia, Secretary of the student branch, explained the importance of their new initiative.
