As the much awaited Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections are taking place today at various divisions around the city, nearly 75 lakh voters are expected to make their votes count and decide the fate of over 1300 candidates in 150 wards.

As the much awaited Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections are taking place today at various divisions around the city, nearly 75 lakh voters are expected to make their votes count and decide the fate of over 1300 candidates in 150 wards.

Telangana IT and Panchayati Raj minister KTR's wife Shailima cast her vote and appealed the public to use their voting rights. Addressing the media, she specifically urged the educated people to cast their vote for the betterment of Hyderabad city.

Earlier in the morning, KTR cast his vote in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad and appealed for every person in Hyderabad to exercise his or her franchise in the polls in order to contribute towards the city's progress.
