Two GOs, No.33 (LRS) and No.34 (BRS), were issued on February 1 extending the deadline for submission of applications under the BPS and LRS till March 1.

Under LRS, plot owners in unapproved layouts should file applications for regularisation of their plots. Under BRS, the government has given an opportunity to the owners of unauthorised buildings and those constructed in deviation of the sanctioned plan Rules 2015 to regularise their buildings.

The owners have to file applications for regularisation of their unauthorised buildings.

Earlier, the government had extended the deadline up to January 31 from December 31 by issuing two GOs No. 210 (LRS) and No. 211 (BPS) on 31 December 2015.
