Adilabad: Police prevented the marriage of a minor girl in Vigam village of Bhimini mandal in the district on Wednesday. Going into details, a 16-year old girl’s marriage was fixed with a person hailing from Vigam village.
On a tip off, the police led by the Sub-Inspector of Police rushed to the spot and stopped the marriage. Later, the police counselled the parents against performing the marriage, which was illegal.
