Good news for working couples in Telangana State. Chief Minster K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday gave nod to the proposal to permit employees and their spouses to work at same place. The Chief Minister asked the officials to take necessary measures in this direction and see that transfers are affected accordingly so that the husband and wife can work in the same city or town.Â

Orders to this effect would be issued soon. This has been a long pending demand of the employees unions. The Chief Minister soon after taking oath after formation of Telangana State had assured the employees that he would sympathetically consider this demand. TNGO honorary president Devi Prasad thanked the Chief Minister for the gesture.
