Water plant set up at hostel
District Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy on Monday inaugurated RO water plant worth Rs 2 lakh, established by Andhra Bank under Corporate Social Responsibility works, at Pentaiah Hostel located on the premises of N G College in Nalgonda town. He distributed SI Group-2 study material and furniture to hostel students that were provided by Nalgonda SC Corporation.

He distributed SI Group-2 study material and furniture to hostel students that were provided by Nalgonda SC Corporation.
Later addressing the students in a meeting, the Collector said that IAS officer later Pentaiah had constructed the hostel for the welfare of poor rural students. The real tributes that the students could pay to the late IAS officer when they achieve success in their lives, he said. The Collector also examined the hostel rooms and enquired the inmates of their problems.
He ordered municipal officials to clean litter outside the hostel and clear the drainage canals. AJC Venkat Rao, ED S C Corporation Sridhar, Municipal Commissioner Mangathayaru, other officials and students participated in the programme.
