GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy said that the civic body has surpassed previous year collection of `1,063 crore despite decreasing the property tax from `1,200 to `100 for about 5,07,000 slum dwellers in the city. He said besides the hard work of civic body officials, Property Tax Parishkarams on Sundays and mobile app helped a lot in improving property tax collections.
