After conducting special raids on several colleges, the regional inspection officials found classes being conducted during summer vacation despite strict instructions by the education department. With the colleges violating the government instructions, the Board of Intermediate Education issued a show-cause notice to 37 private colleges on Wednesday.

Regional Inspection Officer, Ravi Kumar said that some of the colleges that have been given the show-cause notice include Narayana Junior College at Tarnaka and Medipatnam, few of the branches of Sri Chaitanya, Sri Gayatri, Guru and Tapasya Junior College.
