The JAC convener demanded that the government curb the illicit operations by the private bus operators and increase the number of buses in proportion to the passengers as this would increase the revenues for the corporation leading to profits. He also called for the purchase of new buses as well as cancelling permission for hiring buses.

JAC joint convener V S Rao asked the government to permit cargo services apart from asking it to consider the strike days during ‘Sakalajanula Samme’ as working days and withdrawal of cases on the workers imposed during the agitation.

He also asked the government to allow free travel for the spouses of the retired employees up to the deluxe category and fifty percent concession in super luxury, Indra and Garuda buses.

The JAC leaders also wanted the management to settle the accounts of the retired employees. They called for an inter-state agreement between both the Telugu speaking states based on which the bus operations should be based.
