Taking objection to YS Jagan's plans for a protest against the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme, Harish Rao asked the YSRCP Chief not to meddle in Telangana's affairs and added that no force can stop the project getting completed.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, the minister said that the TS government is determined to complete the Palamuru project in the next three years and also provide irrigation to 12 lakh acres in the state. Harish Rao further said that Chandrababu is playing gimmick politics and pointed out that it is not right for Jagan to protest against Palamuru project questioning him whether he is aware of the fact that the project was approved by his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy when he was the Chief Minister of united AP.
