Work with dedication: MLA to PROs
The Telangana State Information Department and Public Relations Officers (PROs) should work with dedication to keep the people of the interior areas well-informed about the government’s welfare scheme, said MLA Srinivas Goud, who is the founder-president of the State Gazetted Officers’ Association, here on Friday.

Addressing the newly-elected officer-bearers of the Association, who called on him, Goud stated that the role of the government employees had become much more important following the State bifurcation. He stressed that the PROs’ role in achieving “Bangaru Telangana” was crucial. The PROs should discharge their functions effectively to win the people’s appreciation, the MLA stated.
I & PR Joint Director Sujata, who has been elected as the Association president, and Nagaiah as the general secretary, assured the MLA that the officials would function as a link between the government and the public. They pledged to work for the successful propagation of the government’s welfare schemes by ensuring that the people can avail themselves of the benefits.
Those who called on the MLA included TGO Central Association secretary Baig, general secretary Satyanarayana, vice-president Madusudhana Goud, Hyderabad TGO Association president M B Krishna Yadav, Information dept new executive committee members S Venkateshwar Rao, P Bhaskar, M Rama Devi, J Pawan Kumar, Hashmi, Praneet Kumar, M Yamini and C C Venkatesh.
