Nalgonda: People of Adavidevulapally of Damercherla mandal in the district celebrated Goddess Kanaka Durga Jatara in a grand note on Friday.
Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy and Miryalaguda MLA Bhaskar Rao participated in the celebrations and performed special pooja to goddess Kanaka Durga at the temple.
Addressing the media MP Gutha stated that the festival unites people in the village. He said that celebrating jataras is a part and parcel of Telangana culture and tradition. During his tour he was accompanied by MPP Mangamma, ZPTC Shankar Naik and Congress senior leaders Pullemla Venkat Narayana Goud,Vijaya Simha Reddy and other local leaders.
